NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
February Rezoning/Special Use Cases

The Johnston County Board of Commissioners will conduct Rezoning Petition and Special Use Permit Application Public Hearings for the following cases on Monday, February 3, 2020 at the 6:00 p.m. Commissioners Meeting in the Commissioners Meeting Room, located in the Johnston County Courthouse, 207 E. Johnston Street, Smithfield, North Carolina.  After each rezoning case is heard, the rezoning public hearing, which is a legislative hearing, will be recessed and the Board will render a decision.  In the case of special use district rezonings, the special use hearing will be heard before reopening the hearing for the next case.  The special use hearing is a quasi-judicial hearing where the Board is sitting as judges and will hear factual evidence as testimony.

Case 09-12 MOD (4):  Special Use Modification: Petition to modify a current special use of 332.6 acres located at northeast quadrant of the intersection of I-40 and NC Hwy 42 W in the Cleveland Township that is currently zoned IHI- SUD.  Tax ID: 06E02002, 06D01022, 06D01015J, 06D01015H, 06E02002E, 06E02002F, 06E02002G, part of 06D0105A  Owner: Son-Lan Classic Development Co., LLC & Donald and Myra West  Applicant: Aspen Point Property, LLC

NOTICE OF POSSIBLE QUORUM BY THE
JOHNSTON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

Please be advised that a possible quorum of the Johnston County Board of Commissioners may attend a Growth Management Public Meeting being held on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. by the Johnston County Planning Department (see meeting invitation – the meeting is open to the public and citizens are encouraged to attend).  This public meeting will be held at the West Johnston High School Auditorium located at 5935 Raleigh Road, Benson, North Carolina.  Please note that this is not an official meeting of the Johnston County Board of Commissioners and no action by the Board of Commissioners will be taken.
