Early Voting Site in Selma Changes Locations

Smithfield, NC – Yesterday, the Johnston County Board of Elections announced a location change for one of the early voting sites in Johnston County. Early voting was originally scheduled to take place at the West Street Community Building in Selma, but due to parking constraints, the new location will be at the Town of Selma Admin. Building, located at 212 North Raiford Street, Selma, N.C. 27576. 

Early voting begins this week, on Thursday, February 15, 2024 and runs through March 2, 2024. First Baptist Church Ministry Center in Smithfield, Archer Lodge Community Center in Archer Lodge, and The Church at Clayton Crossings in Clayton are the other polling locations available to those interested in voting early in Johnston County. The daily schedule for all four early voting locations is as follows:

  • Monday- Friday: 8:00 a.m.- 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, February 24: 8:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 2: 8:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.

You can also register and vote on the same day during early voting. But remember, this option is not available on election day. Find out more about early voting in Johnston County by visiting the Board of Elections website.
