Johnston County to Host First Public Meeting for Parks and Open Space Trails and Greenways Master Plan

Smithfield, N.C. - Johnston County is hosting its first public meeting for the Comprehensive Trails and Greenways Master Plan, offering residents an opportunity to view progress and provide input on the future of the County's trail and greenway systems.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bread & Bottle, located at 120 South Pine Street, Princeton, N.C. 27569. This is a floating meeting, which allows attendees to drop in at any time during the two-hour window to engage with staff and consultants, view the master plan's progress, and share their thoughts and suggestions.

Patrons are welcome to purchase food and drinks from the restaurant during the event.
