Many of the same services provided inside the Johnston County Public Library are available on the Bookmobile. We are also active in the summer reading program for children.

Through our 11 routes, we are able offer our many patrons access to a variety of materials.

We provide books to:

• Day cares
• Head Start programs
• Group homes
• Home-schooled students with disabilities
• Assisted-living facilities
• Senior centers
• Older and/or Homebound patrons
• Anyone who finds it difficult to visit the Library

We carry a supply of cookbooks, craft books, self-help books, biographies, fiction, mysteries, and non-fiction books. We have educational books for children and young adults as well as audio books and large-print editions for the visually impaired.

We encourage our patrons to go online and select books of interest from other libraries in the county, or call and request a book for delivery. This helps us to expand our collection and better serve the wonderful people of Johnston County.
