Register of Deeds Announces Passport Operations

The Johnston County Register of Deeds, will resume Passport Operations on a limited basis starting Monday January 11th, 2021.

Passport operations had been suspended on December 15th, 2020 due to COVID-19, but The Register of Deeds Craig Olive feels his office can safely start accepting passport applications as soon as next week. Appointment times will be spaced out and will only be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays until further notice.

As always, caution will be taken to safely and effectively assist passport applicants with social distancing and wearing masks a must. Appointments will be limited to 2 applicants at a time in our processing area.


Craig Olive and his staff look forward to continuing to provide passport services to the citizens of Johnston County and surrounding areas.
