NOTICE: Johnston Co HAPP does not provide housing of any kind. We are happy to provide a list of local affordable and tax credit properties in our area that may accept your Voucher - but we have no affiliation with any of these entities. In addition, from time to time we have private Owners with homes who send us their information to share. Since we do not rent properties it is up to Tenants themselves to make sure these are not scams. Never give anyone money without seeing a property both inside and out first, and without verifying they are the legitimate owner or management company.

EFFECT OF FEDERAL GOVERMENT SHUTDOWN ON HCV/HAPP FUNDING 10/27/25: Our office has been informed that we should be funded via the federal goverment for November 2025, and most likely through December 2025 as well. However, as with anything this is subject to change at any time. Our office has been a good steward of the goverments money. Therefore, if at any point we are not funded right away we do have enough in reserves to carry us through at least 30-45 days. At this time, all Owners should be receiving their November and December subsidy payments.
