Thanksgiving Safety
T - Take breaks and rotate drivers during long trips. Remember, all that turkey will make you tired on the way home.
U - Use a tire gauge to test tire pressures before traveling. Refer to the suggested PSI rating for your vehicle and tires.
R - Replenish your fuel tank BEFORE traveling long distances. Before you fill your belly, fill your car.
K - Keep an emergency preparedness kit and supplies in your trunk. Store valuables out of sight in the trunk, as well.
E - Eliminate distractions while driving. Eating and socializing should happen at the table, not behind the wheel.
Y - You are the best gift you can give your family this holiday season. Give them something to be thankful for on Thursday.
