January | Winter Weather Safety

1. NEVER use an oven or stove to heat your home. Keep heat sources at LEAST 3 FT. from flammable objects.

2. Add winter items to your GO BAG. Include winter jackets, gloves, warm socks, blankets, and boots.

3. WATCH OUT FOR BLACK ICE. Cold temperatures and water on roads can create hard to see ice patches.

4. Add winter items to your VEHICLE. Include hand warmers, blankets, an ice scraper, and jumper cables.
