From Clayton and I-70 East: Follow Route 70 East, when it splits into 70-Bypass and 70-Business, follow 70-Business into Smithfield. Turn right on Second Street beside the courthouse. Turn right on Johnston Street, the GIS building is on the left.
From I-95: Take Exit 95 for downtown Smithfield. Head West through Smithfield. Turn left beside the courthouse onto Second Street. Turn right on Johnston Street, the GIS building is on the left.

Call the GIS front desk at 919-989-5153 in advance of your visit, and request wheelchair access. Staff will meet you at the back of the house where there is a ramp.
