Pre-Diabetes Information
Do you have or are you at risk for for prediabetes?
The Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) is a CDC-recognized program designed to help prevent or delay type-2 diabetes. Through a year long program you will learn healthy habits such as increasing physical activity, eating healthier, and reducing stress.
This year-long program includes:
- 16 weekly classes
- Six monthly classes
- Healthy eating
- Physical activity
- Tools and encouragement
- Group setting
Upcoming Classes
- Current Cohort Began: January 8th, 2025 (see the 2025 Diabetes Prevention Program flyer)
- Classes meet at the Johnston County Public Health Department.
- Upcoming classes are shown in the column to the right.
