Take time before a disaster to put a plan in place for your family. Ask the following questions and address them in your plan:
- How will I receive emergency alerts & warnings?
- Where will I go if I need to evacuate? How will I get there?
- How will my household communicate during a disaster?
- What supplies do I need to add to my preparedness kit or Go-Bag?
Don't forget to include elderly family members/neighbors and pets into your emergency preparedness plans.
