Craig Olive, Johnston County Register of Deeds, announces the 10 most popular baby names in 2021 for Johnston County births.  Olivia and Lucas/Liam captured the top spots for babies born in Johnston County during 2021.

Vital Record Statistics

In addition, Mr. Olive provided other Johnston County Vital Records statistics for 2021. 1,859 babies were born, 1,781 deaths occurred and 1,483 marriage licenses were obtained in Johnston County in 2021. Of the births, 945 were boys and 914 were girls.

The Register of Deeds Office also provided statistics for the last 10 years for births, death and marriages in Johnston County.
