Animal Waste Planning and Design

The Johnston Soil and Water Conservation District houses the Natural Resource Conservation Technicians and Engineers to assist landowners and farmers with animal waste design and planning.  To meet the NC DENR's Division of Water Quality's 0.200 regulations, all swine producers must have an active waste management and utilization plan.  Our technicians can develop your plan and help you meet the requirements of the 0.200 regulations.

We assist swine, poultry, and dairy producers with site designs, waste management plans, waste utilization plans and other required documentation.
