Child Protective Services

Program Overview

We protect children by providing services for families. This includes specialized services for abused, neglected, and/or dependent children, and those who are at imminent risk of harm due to the actions of, or lack of protection by, the child’s parent or caregiver.

These services are designed to protect children from further harm and support and improve parental/caregiver abilities in order to assure a safe and nurturing home for each child.

Child Protective Services In-Home Services

The purpose of Child Protective Services In-Home Services is to help parents/caretakers develop and carry out plans to ensure the safety of their child on an ongoing basis. Staff are responsible for providing sufficient in-home services to the family where abuse, neglect, and/or dependency has been substantiated.
