DSS Mission

The mission of Johnston County Social Services is to serve, aid and protect needy and vulnerable children and adults in ways that strengthen and preserve families. We implement Human Services programs that are intended to promote the health, wellbeing, self-sufficiency and protection of families, children and adults within our community.

To be an organization which promotes self-sufficiency and assures the protection of vulnerable individuals. We strive to have an organization which values the needs of our customers, the contributions of our staff, and the participation of our community.
